You can feel the high torque especially while cutting in tougher conditions like dense,

thick grass. 50% more torque compared to the old SRM265ES and the SRM300ES.

The new high torque gearcases on selected ECHO

brushcutters give you 50% more torque compared

to older models. The standard gear reduction ratio

is 1:1.3 and there is a gear ratio of 1:2 on the new

high torque cases.

The engines themselves are the same as those of

prior models, but the improved gear cases make

them suitable for tougher conditions. You will

be surprised how smoothly you can cut through

dense weeds, which would usually catch on nylon

cords and reduce speed.

The idle time to 7000-8000rpm has also been

reduced by approximately 50%.
